Athena Florentis -
Youth Engagement Intern

Growing up in Sudbury, I have always felt deeply connected to my community and driven to create meaningful impact here. My experiences have shown me that with the right support, young people can overcome barriers, unlock their potential, and become powerful drivers of change. I believe in the importance of advocacy, community-building, and creating inclusive spaces where everyone’s voice is valued.

I am currently completing a degree in Business Administration with a minor in Law and Justice, where I’ve developed a passion for exploring the intersection between business, law, and community development. Alongside my studies, I serve as a Youth Engagement Intern and Youth Expert Panel Member, roles that allow me to empower other young people and ensure their voices are heard in decision-making processes.

I am committed to embracing individuality and celebrating diverse perspectives. I believe that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to success and that every voice has the potential to inspire change. My goal is to continue creating opportunities and advocating for youth, ensuring that they have the resources and support they need to thrive and make an impact in their own way.
