Chimdi Kingsley-Emereuwa -
Youth

Hola, my name is Chimdinma Kingsley-Emereuwa (Chimdi), I am 18 years younger and I attend the Prestigious University of Toronto, where I study in the Arts & Science Program. I am a book enthusiast and I have read so many books from French revolutionary novels to African literature to romance and horror, and I would really love to understand Greek philosophy.  The most recent books that I read are On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous by Ocean Vuong, Born a Crime by Trevor Noah, and Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, and my favorite book is Purple Hibiscus by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.  I also love learning about life and existentialism through words. I am a writer and spoken word artist who performs on local stages. I am a lover of Reggae Blues mixed with Jazz. When I am not writing, reading, or performing, I can be seen crocheting. I love learning religious and philosophical subjects that leave us with more questions than answers and also challenge conventions made up by society. Last but not least, I love being a part of Change, and fighting for Justice, which is why I joined FutureNorth, an organization dedicated to giving the Youth both a platform and a Voice to be the Change they want to see.
