I am involved in Future North because it is my passion to advocate and assist in improving the wellbeing of fellow youth by utilizing my lived experience and expertise. As a youth I faced several barriers such as being a youth in care, living independently at a young age and difficulty maintaining stable housing. I also struggled with mental health issues along with physical health issues that I had difficulty advocating for.
