N’Swakamok Native Friendship Centre: Apatisiwin Employment and Training Coordinator

I am involved with Future North because I want to be able to assist youth in the community with employment or training opportunities. I quit school to help raise my nephew because my sister was a young mom and it made sense for her to get an education. She quit and my mom said I had to work or go to school if I wanted to live at home, but the school wouldn’t let me return so I ended up at the Parry Sound Friendship Centre.
