Is Future North a registered business or non-profit?

Future North is a 5-year initiative funded jointly by the Federal Government and Tamarack Institute. As a part of this work, we are hosted by a community agency that provides administrative support and acts as the “fiscal sponsor”. Future North as an entity is not registered, but our fiscal sponsor is a well established non-profit with a presence in Ontario.

What if I am the parent of a youth and I want to get them connected with Future North?

We recommend that you encourage the youth to contact us. Our Community Engagement Coordinator is available to support youth in the community who are seeking support and guidance. As a parent, if you would like more information on the support we provide, do not hesitate to contact us.

Does Future North do presentations and community sessions about their work?

We would love to come to your agency, community, school or workplace to speak with youth about what we do and explore the options for how you can get involved with our work.
