Join the Youth Empowerment Program

Future North is hiring! The Youth Empowerment Program is an ongoing project where youth are trained as Youth Engagement Workshop Facilitators, and are paid for each workshop they deliver in-person and/or virtually.

  • Improve education outcomes
  • Increase employability skills
  • Paid training
  • In-field experience
  • Improve communication and presentation skills that are necessary to both education and workplace settings
  • Boost your confidence

This employment opportunity allows the flexibility a lot of youth require to make a livable wage while pursuing other opportunities simultaneously. The nature of the work means that youth can work as independent freelancers, creating training sessions that fit within their lifestyles/schedules, with both in-person and virtual offerings.
