Priority 1
Justice, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
We must challenge ageism, racism, heterosexism, ableism and all other “isms” within the district, and increase peer-to-peer programming to ensure that, as Future North grows, so too does our ongoing commitment to marginalised youth.
Priority 2
Financial Stability, Organizational Sustainability and Strategic Growth
We aim to be nimble and adaptive in the face of new opportunities, while continuing to build successful, learning-focused projects, pilot projects, programs, and initiatives. In our relationships, our finances, and our programming, stability and consistency will form our bedrock. The key to our financial stability is a focus on developing diversified revenue streams, with a particular emphasis on cultivating new unrestricted revenue streams.
Priority 3
Partnership
We are continuously focused on building an ecosystem of synergistic partnerships where young people will thrive. We will work with community partners and youth to test innovative ideas and ensure youth are at the table.
Priority 4
Youth Leadership and Advocacy
We commit to working from within the system to transform the youth experience by amplifying youth voices around the issues that impact them and their futures.
