REDEFINING SUCCESS
Keynote Speaker telling their success stories
Future North wants to redefine what success is and the pathway/journey towards success for our youth. Each individual’s pathway to success is not always linear or what they expect. We want to challenge the idea that there is only one way to achieve success and the overall definition, as defining success is perceived differently by everyone.
We are launching Redefining Success. This campaign/initiative aims to inspire youth and young adults (15-30 years old) along their unique journeys toward their education or career goals and help them discover and learn ways to actualize their own definitions of success.
The main events will include panelists/key speakers of various people showcasing different levels of success that are local to the Sudbury-Manitoulin region. We want youth to know that success isn’t exclusive to people who live in Toronto or large cities. They will walk the audience through their unique/atypical journeys that brought them to the point they are today. We aim to have at least 6 speaking events targeting different youth populations (high school students, post-secondary students, youth who are neither in school or careers, youth with disabilities – highlighting supports they can access along the way, BIPOC youth, etc.)
